Visit the Island of Rangiroa in French Polynesia
Most people dream of visiting French Polynesia, but most don't know much about Rangiroa, the hidden gem of Tahiti. It is home to some of the world's best diving sites and some of the most fantastic Tahitian Pearl Farms are located here.
For visitors, the seclusion and serenity of Rangiroa brings an infinite world of sites and colors to your senses. If you are a diver, world-class diving awaits you. To "shoot the pass" is to experience what many have called "the world's greatest adrenaline rush". Divers, snorkelers, and even those aboard a glass-bottomed boat are carried in a rush of water between the ocean and lagoon surrounded by seemingly millions of fish. Outside the reef is a breathtaking array of large species along the walls of the drop-offs, including eagle rays and schools of sharks and tuna.
If you like to snorkel, Rangiroa's lagoon carries an astounding assortment of marine life, which makes it a prime spot. L'lle aux Recifs Beach, Papiro Point and the Mahuta area are all known for their superb snorkeling. However, you don't have to go anywhere in particular to snorkel on the atoll of Rangiroa. If you do want to venture away from your resort, you can enjoy a day excursion to Rangiroa's nearby islets, explore the lagoons, visit the Blue lagoon, the bird sanctuary, or watch the dolphins frolicking at Tiputa Pass.

Tiputa Point has a beautiful vista point that doubles as a picnic area, while L'lle Aux Recifs is noted for its fossilized coral formations.
